Craig Conroy's season was over. Nearly.
All that remained? Walking down the corridor, stepping through the Pengrowth Saddledome's back-ramp door and into Parking Lot D. Which, understandably, didn't thrill him. The potential finality of it does pack a punch.
"Oh yeah, this might be it," Conroy said Wednesday. "It was tough during the last (home) game, especially. Just so many fond memories that you hope it's not (over). It's a business . . . but I played most of my games here, had most of my success here. People have been great. I love it here.
