Curley Joins USA Hockey Staff
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey announced the hiring of seven new staff members and one promotion for its National Team Development Program, adult ice hockey department and hockey operations department. Among the new hires is former Clarkson standout Matt Curley.
Curley (Madrid,
N.Y.) joins USA Hockey's NTDP staff. A full-time elite development
program in Ann Arbor, Mich., USA Hockey's NTDP includes both the
U.S. National Under-17 and Under-18 Teams.
Curley will serve as intern coach for the U.S. National Under-18
Team in 2010-11. He joins the NTDP after having coached the
boys’ ice hockey program at the National Sports Academy in
Lake Placid, N.Y., for one year. Curley is a graduate of Clarkson
University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in history
with minors in law and business. He was a four-year letterwinner
for the Clarkson’s men’s ice hockey team from
2003-07.
