Faulkner to Remain in Italy
The President of Annex Tegola Canadian Hockey Renato Rossi
announced Friday that former Clarkson standout Mac Faulkner has
re-signed with HC Alleghe for the 2010-11 season.
A native of King City, Ontario, Faulkner played in 40 games with
HC Alleghe in 2009-10. He led the team in scoring with 49 points on
the strength of 26 goals.
Prior to joining HC Alleghe, Faulkner competed with Reading and
Cincinnati of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). He participated
in 72 regular-season contests in 2008-09, amassing 20 goals and 25
assists. He played 60 games with Reading, netting 17 goals and 20
assists. Faulkner, who joined Cincinnati late in the 2008-09
campaign, played in 15 playoff games with the Cyclones,
contributing four goals and five assists.
Faulkner donned the Golden Knights jersey from 2001 through 2005.
He registered 33 goals and 50 assists in 141 collegiate contests.
His most productive offensive campaign came in 2003-04 as he
amassed 43 points, including 17 goals, in 43 contests.
