Kings Activate Mitchell

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings
have activated former Clarkson defenseman Willie
Mitchell from the injured list, Kings President/General
Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Mitchell, 33, suffered an upper-body injury on November 6 at
STAPLES Center during the Kings’ victory against
Nashville. He was placed on the injured list on November 9
(retroactive to November 7) and has missed the Kings’ last 14
games. Mitchell is expected to be in the line-up tonight when
the Kings play at Detroit.
In 13 games this season, his first with the Kings, he has five
points (1-4=5) and five penalty minutes.
