Kings Activate Jones
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have activated former
Clarkson defenseman Randy Jones from the injured reserve list,
Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced. Jones is
expected to play tonight at STAPLES Center when the Kings host St.
Louis at 7:30 p.m.
Jones, 28, suffered an upper body injury on December 15 at
Edmonton and has missed the club’s last eight games. In 18
games this season with the Kings, Jones has 12 points (4-8=12) and
12 penalty minutes. The 6-2, 200-pound native of Quispamsis, New
Brunswick, has also played in six games this season with the
Adirondack Phantoms (AHL), recording one point (an assist) and six
penalty minutes.
