Clarkson Looks to Right Preseason Wrongs

POTSDAM — On the door entering into the Clarkson University men's hockey team's locker room is a reminder of the low expectations the ECAC Hockey coaches and media have for this season's squad.
Taped to the door is the preseason polls. A dark black arrow, made with a Sharpie, points to Clarkson's last-place selection in both polls.
Conference play starts at 7 tonight with Clarkson's game against Colgate, and the Golden Knights face Cornell at 7 p.m. Saturday at Cheel Arena. Both teams are expected to be among the contenders for the conference crown.
