Blue Jackets Return Clitsome to Syracuse
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets assigned former
Clarkson defenseman Grant Clitsome to Syracuse, Blue Jackets'
General Manager Scott Howson announced.
Clitsome, 24, made his NHL debut Tuesday night against Vancouver
and tallied two assists to become the first Blue Jackets player to
record multiple assists in his NHL debut. Columbus' 12th pick,
271st overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft, he has registered 4-14-18
and 40 penalty minutes and in 55 games with Syracuse this season.
He ranks tied for third among Crunch defensemen in assists and
points. He has collected 8-29-37 and 114 penalty minutes in 128
career AHL games.
