The Kings claimed defenseman Randy Jones
off of re-entry waivers yesterday from Philadelphia (read the release
here).
LAKings.com chatted with the 28-year old blueliner as he is
making his way to Los Angeles to join the Kings today. He is what
he had to say about changing organizations for the first time and
being re-united with Ron Hextall and Terry Murray.
LAKings.com: Talk a little bit about how you feel about
being picked up by the Kings.
Jones: I am absolutely thrilled. I had a five hour drive back to New Jersey yesterday and I was all smiles the whole way. Ever since I got the word yesterday I have been really excited, really looking forward to it. I can't wait to get there and put that uniform on.
