Faulkner to Play in Italy
The President of Annex Tegola Canadian Hockey Renato Rossi
announced Monday that HC Alleghe has signed former Clarkson
standout Mac Faulkner, who spent the 2008-09 season with Reading
and Cincinnati of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
A native of King City, Ontario, Faulkner competed in 72 ECHL
regular-season contests in 2008-09, amassing 20 goals and 25
assists. He played 60 games with Reading, netting 17 goals and 20
assists. Faulkner, who joined Cincinnati late in the 2008-09
campaign, played in 15 playoff games with the Cyclones,
contributing four goals and five assists.
Faulkner donned the Golden Knights jersey from 2001 through 2005.
He registered 33 goals and 50 assists in 141 collegiate contests.
His most productive offensive campaign came in 2003-04 as he
amassed 43 points, including 17 goals, in 43 contests.
