The following article featuring former Clarkson standout Willie Mitchell appeared April 27 on the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) Web site.
He might be an avid fisherman, but Willie Mitchell would much
rather talk about netting a far bigger prize.
After Vancouver’s four-game sweep of St. Louis Blues in the
first round of the Western Conference quarter-finals, Mitchell and
his Canucks’teammates have been the afforded the luxury of
some well-earned rest and relaxation.
For Mitchell, it’s been an opportunity to enjoy one his
favourite hobbies.
