POTSDAM — Paul Karpowich finally feels comfortable on the
ice after a difficult two-week stretch in which he battled sinus
and throat infections.
Clarkson University's freshman goalie from Thunder Bay, Ontario,
was unable to play last weekend, and prior to practicing on Monday,
the last time he'd been on the ice was in Clarkson's 5-3 loss on
Feb. 14 at Quinnipiac.
"It's nice to get back on the ice now," Karpowich said. "It was a
rough two weeks. I did feel a little bit sick (at Quinnipiac), but
I tried to put it out of my mind."
