Zalewski Called to San Jose
SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and
General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has
recalled former Clarkson forward Steven Zalewski from the Worcester
Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American
Hockey League.
Zalewski ranks second in scoring for Worcester, posting 15 points
(7-8=15). He has played in two games for San Jose, making his NHL
debut on Oct. 12 vs. Phoenix.
The five-foot-eleven, 190-pound native of Utica, NY native was
originally selected by San Jose in the fifth round (153rd overall)
of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
