Cole Still Wary of Orpik

RALEIGH -- Erik Cole of the Carolina Hurricanes, like the rest of
his teammates, has had Scott Walker on his mind.
Walker's wife, Julie, has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, and
Walker understandably was overcome with emotion Thursday after
scoring the overtime goal that beat the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of
their second-round playoff series.
"We all realized the excitement of beating Boston was one thing,
but the excitement for Scott was something I felt more so," Cole
said Saturday. "I don't think you could have picked a better guy on
our team to score that goal. We're all just so happy for him and
care about him and his family."
