On a night when Roberto Luongo saw more rubber than the foreman of
the local Trojan factory, our storyline isn't exactly the most
sensational to emerge from Tuesday night's street fight between the
Vancouver Canucks and the Calgary Flames.
Then again, there's never been anything particularly, well, sexy
about Willie Mitchell's game. Night in, night out he draws the
matchup against the opposition's top line and night in, night out
he executes his assignment with a grim, workmanlike sense of
purpose.
And so it was Tuesday night.
