Leggio Emerges as Top-Flight Goalie

ESTERO — For most of his career, David Leggio was like a
pretty good poker hand that nobody wanted to risk betting the house
on.
The Florida Everblades all-star goalie didn't always make his
area's top youth hockey team, and he never played major-junior
hockey in Canada or the U.S.
Leggio was never one of the kids everybody said would be a star --
he usually played backup to those kids.
