Canes' Chemistry Better with Cole

RALEIGH -- From closets, attics, basements, garages, sheds,
storage units and crawl spaces in every corner of the Triangle, a
wave of No. 26 sweaters flooded at the RBC Center on Friday for
Erik Cole's first game back wearing that same jersey.
There were none to be found in the Eye, the team store at the
arena, so every one on display was previously purchased and emerged
from eight months of hibernation Friday.
The Eye is a week away from a new shipment of Cole merchandise
(available Friday: magnets) but as far as the team on the ice is
concerned, Wednesday's deal to reacquire Cole was the last upgrade.
No more help is coming.
