Marchant to Undergo Surgery

Ducks center Todd Marchant will have surgery next week to
repair a broken bone in his foot.
Marchant said Friday he will undergo a procedure to insert a screw
in his left foot to heal the bones correctly. He expects recovery
to be about 4-6 weeks and doesn’t anticipate it will
interfere with preparation for next season.
“It should be a very simple minor procedure,” he said.
