Will Bruins Make a Deal to Get Cole?

Edmonton Oilers pro scout Dave Semenko has been trailing the
Boston Bruins the last few days -- watching them play against the
Montreal Canadiens last weekend and against the Philadelphia Flyers
on Wednesday night.
The Bruins, who have some salary-cap room with winger Marc Sturm
out for the season with a knee injury, may be looking at Oilers
winger Erik Cole. Sturm's salary for 2008-09 is $3.5 million
US.
Cole played plenty of games against the Bruins when he toiled for
the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference, and he is an
unrestricted free agent.
