Bernard Returns to North Country

POTSDAM – Brasher Falls native and Western New England
College hockey coach Chris Bernard has been named the new
men’s ice hockey coach at SUNY Potsdam, according to Bears
Athletic Director Jim Zalacca.
Bernard led the Division III Golden Bears during the past three
seasons. During the 2005-06 season, Bernard was an assistant coach
at Division I Canisius College. He was also an assistant coach with
the St. Louis Sting of the North American Hockey League during the
2001-02 season.
From 1998 through 2004 Bernard played professional hockey with the
Mohawk Valley Prowlers and the Missouri River Otters of the United
Hockey League (UHL) and the Fayetteville Force of the Central
Hockey League (CHL).
