Steve Zalewski has seemingly always gone quietly about his work at Clarkson University.

He's quietly increased his scoring totals each season since first arriving in Potsdam, N.Y., in the fall of 2004. He spent the final year of his high school career playing at Northwood Prep in Lake Placid, just a few hours away.

Zalewski went from 19 points as a freshman to 22 points as a sophomore and 34 points last year as a junior. He also participated in the 2005 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid following his freshman season at Clarkson, and tallied a total of three assists in games against Swedish and Finnish squads.
