ESPNU to Television North Country Battle
National television returns to Cheel Arena this season as
Clarkson will host arch-rival St. Lawrence in a non-league game to
be broadcast live on ESPNU.
The Golden Knights and Saints will faceoff before a television
audience on Sunday, January 11, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The game was
originally scheduled for January 9.
Clarkson will also play St. Lawrence three other times during the
2008-09 campaign. The Green and Gold will take on the Saints the
night before the TV game, playing in Canton on Saturday, January
10. The Knights will also play at Appleton Arena in an ECAC Hockey
contest on Friday, February 6, and then will host St. Lawrence in a
league game in Potsdam on Saturday, February 7.
Clarkson opens its 87th season of play on Friday, October 17 at
Rochester Institute of Technology. The Knights' home opener at
Cheel Arena is on Friday, October 24 against Colorado College.
