Clarkson is effectively proving that one of the great equalizers
in all sports is injuries.
The Golden Knights lost a lot from last year’s team, but
were still expected to do well this season with the return of
top-five scorer Chris D’Alvise and talented defensemen Phil
Paquet and Mark Borowiecki, just to name a few. And they started
well, with a win over RIT and then back-to-back ties against
Colorado College.
Then injuries began to befall their stars.
