POTSDAM — Tyrell Mason and Phil Paquet grew up 2,740 miles
from each other in different towns in Canada.
Mason is more soft-spoken while Paquet is the type who will let
you know he was there. They were paired together only nine times in
39 games last season.
But while the duo has a few differences, the pair of Clarkson
senior defensemen are partners this year while serving as captains
of the Golden Knights' team.
Mason, from Dawson Creek, British Columbia, has been a steady
performer ever since he arrived on campus. In 114 career games he
has picked up just 80 penalties and had a plus-34 rating.
