POTSDAM —The Clarkson University men's hockey team is
losing players to injury at a rapid rate.
Entering this weekend, players have lost a total of 10 games to
injury. Shea Guthrie (wrist), who returned last weekend, missed
four games. Co-captain Phil Paquet (ankle) has missed three, and
defenseman Mark Borowiecki (knee) missed two. Forward Chris
D'Alvise (shoulder) also missed a game.
Borowiecki is expected to return as Clarkson plays ECAC Hockey
road games at Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend. Paquet will
definitely miss the weekend, and Julian Cayer, who suffered a
concussion early in Saturday's game against Yale, and D'Alvise, may
also wind up missing the trip.
