Titans Bolster Roster with Poli

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans announced the signing of former Brown forward Chris Poli.

Poli, 26 and a native of Medfield, Mass., and a former standout at Brown, is also familiar to area fans. He played three seasons with the Trenton Devils, appearing in 55 games between 2007-08 and 2009-10. His best stretch came in 2009-10, when he scored 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 36 games with Trenton. He spent part of the 2010-11 season with the Gwinnett Gladiators, playing in 17 games.

"Chris has good size (6-foot-1, 210 pounds) and can play center or the wings,'' said Titans head coach Vince Williams. "The good thing is I've coached him before and I know his strengths.

"He stepped away from the game for awhile, but now he wants to get back in.''
