Nailers Sign Brownschidle

The Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) have signed former Brown standout David Brownschidle, who started the 2011-12 campaign with the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
A native of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, Brownschidle made his ECHL debut with Wheeling Saturday against Reading.
In 19 games with Huntsville, Brownschidle amassed four goals and four assists.
As a member of the Bears from 2007-11, Brownschidle compiled 28 points, including 14 goals, in 114 collegiate contests.
