Timberlake Extends Stay in Gwinnett
The Gwinnett Gladiators have agreed to terms with former Brown forward Devin Timberlake for the 2011-12 season.
Timberlake earned two points (one goal, one assist) in 14 games with the Gladiators last year after he was acquired by the Gladiators in a trade with Reading on March 2. He recorded 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 35 games with the Royals. He also appeared in two games with Providence of the AHL but did not register a point.
The Port Alberni, British Columbia earned two goals in six AHL games at the conclusion of the 2009-10 season with the Providence Bruins. Prior to Providence, Timberlake posted a career year at Brown with 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) in 37 games. He completed his collegiate career with 61 points (19 goals, 42 assists) in 110 career games with Brown.
