Flyers Loan Zolnierczyk to Trenton
The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have loaned forward Harry Zolnierczyk to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Trenton Titans, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
Zolnierczyk, 24, has appeared in eight games with the Flyers, totaling two points, including one goal. The former Brown standout made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut with the Flyers October 18 in Ottawa. The speedy forward dazzled NHL fans with a sparkling deke on Senators goalie Craig Anderson, which produced Zolnierczyk's first NHL goal.
The former Brown captain has displayed his strong skating and soft hands all season with Adirondack. In 10 games with the Phantoms, Zolnierczyk has scored five goals and assisted on four tallies. The native of Toronto first joined the Phantoms last season, when he completed his fourth season at Brown. Zolnierczyk had 69 total points (30g, 39a) in his collegiate career.
