Admirals Sign Ford
MILWAUKEE, WI- The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the club has signed former Brown defenseman Scott Ford to a one-year AHL deal.
Ford recently completed his third season with the Admirals, tallying career highs in games played (80), penalty minutes (164), and +/- (10). During that time he has competed in 204 games, recording 25 points (7g-18a) and 376 penalty minutes, second most on the team. The Fort St. John, BC native has skated in a total of 29 post-season contests, including 13 during the 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs. After playing four years at Brown, Ford made appearances with the Cleveland Barons, Bridgeport Sound Tribes and Providence Bruins before joining the Admirals.
