Timberlake Returns to Reading
READING, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Brown forward Devin Timberlake has been returned to Reading from the Providence Bruins (AHL).
Timberlake was loaned to the P-Bruins on February 11 and played in the team’s 4-3 loss to the Hershey Bears that night. He also played in Providence’s 4-1 loss to the Connecticut Whale on February 13. He did not register any points or penalty minutes during this stint in the AHL.
A first-year pro from Port Alberni, British Columbia, Timberlake has thirteen points (7g-6a) and nineteen penalty minutes in thirty games with Reading. For Davis, he has served as the Royals EBG twice this season. This is the first time that he has been signed to an ECHL contract this season by Reading. He is yet to appear in a game this year for the team.
