Versatile Hurley Returns to Gladiators

DULUTH — Sean Hurley had to wait for his chance to play for the Gwinnett Gladiators last season. He didn’t have to wait for a new contract offer with the ECHL team.
Gladiators head coach Jeff Pyle told the all-purpose graduate of Brown University he wanted him back during his exit interview in April. They soon agreed to terms for a contract.
“At the end of the season exit meeting you shoot the breeze and talk about how things went,” Hurley said. “Then he comes clean and says if he wants you back or not.”
