McMonagle Agrees to Terms with Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that
they have agreed to terms with former Brown defenseman Sean
McMonagle.
McMonagle, 22, joins the Wranglers for his first full professional
season. The Oakville, Ontario native spent three games on an
Amateur Tryout agreement with Las Vegas last season. Previously,
the 6-1, 195-pound defenseman was with Brown University, where he
appeared in 113 games. In his four seasons with the Bears,
McMonagle scored 16 goals and added 25 assists for 41 points.
"Sean is a player I got to know at the conclusion of our regular
season and I was instantly impressed with his game and his
commitment to getting better," said GM/Head Coach Ryan Mougenel.
"He was very sought after in our league and I'm excited to add his
vision and ability to our lineup."
The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) are the ECHL affiliate to the National
Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey
League’s San Antonio Rampage.
