After taking three out of four points last weekend with an
exciting overtime win over RPI and a tie with #20 Union, Brown has
a golden opportunity this weekend to gain ground in the race for
home ice in the first round of the ECAC playoffs.
Wins against Harvard (Friday at 7 p.m.) and Dartmouth (Saturday at
4 p.m.) at Meehan Auditorium would lift the Bears into at least
eighth place. An eighth-place finish or above would guarantee home
ice in the opening playoff round.
“Our goal is home ice, to see how high we can get,”
said coach Brendan Whittet.
