Wranglers Add Hurley
The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that they have
agreed to terms with former Brown defensemen Sean Hurley for the
2009-10 season.
Hurley, 26, will be entering his second full professional season
in 2009-10. The 6-3, 211-pound defenseman skated in 46 games last
season for the Bakersfield Condors, recording nine points. Prior to
his rookie year, the Rutland, VT native spent four years at Brown
University, where he posted 79 points over his 126-game Ivy-League
career. During the 2008-09 season, Hurley suited up for a combined
seven AHL games with the Worcester Sharks and Norfolk Admirals.
“Sean was a player sought after heavily following a great
collegiate career,” said Wranglers General Manager / Head
Coach Ryan Mougenel. “I’m excited to work with him to
get him to that elite level. He’ll be a very responsible,
offensive defenseman for us.”
