Trenton Gets a Real Prough

TRENTON — Trenton Devils forward Jeff Prough was a bit
surprised when he looked down at his cell phone.
There it was in writing — or in this case a text message
— he had been traded in his first professional season just
six games into the year with the ECHL’s Gwinnett
Gladiators.
The message wasn’t sent from his coach or anyone in the
Gwinnett organization, but rather his former college teammate and
current T-Devil Chris Poli. The two attended Brown University for
four years together and now get to continue playing hockey on the
same professional team. And even though Poli has only appeared in
eight games this season because of injury, it was still nice for
Prough to see a familiar face after being traded.
