Danis Thinks Islanders are Good Fit

Yann Danis is hoping a change of scenery is his ticket back to the National Hockey League.
"This is a chance for me to start over again," Danis said yesterday after signing a one-year deal with the New York Islanders.
The one-time Canadiens' prospect had run into a dead end in the Montreal organization and took advantage of the chance to become an unrestricted free agent. Several teams expressed interest in the 27-year-old, who started the 2005-06 season as José Theodore's backup, but he felt the Isles were the best fit for a number of reasons.
