Robertson Signs with IHL's PrairieThunder

Bloomington PrairieThunder coach Derek Booth announced the signing of former Brown forward Jarrett Robertson on Friday. Robertson, who will wear No. 20, will be available for Friday's 6:30 p.m. game in Muskegon.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Robertson played 51 games for the Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League last season, but is still considered a rookie by International League Hockey standards because he did not exceed the 60-game maximum rookie limit.

The left-handed shooting Robertson scored 16 goals and added 20 assists for 36 points for the FireAntz. He also had 76 penalty minutes and scored three goals in eight SPHL playoff games last year for three points.

The 26-year-old Robertson, a native of Kingston, Ontario, is a graduate of Brown University where he scored 23 goals with 19 assists for 42 points during his four-year career.

Booth also announced that rookie center Brett Clarke has been placed on the seven-day injured reserve list. Clarke has two points on two assists in 15 games this season with a minus 6 plus-minus rating. He has taken 13 shots on goal and has 19 penalty minutes.
