Galajda & Graber Earn NCAA Three Star Honors

There was plenty of offensive firepower on display over the weekend in college hockey, but it's a goalie who leads the way in this edition of Stars of the Week.

1.) Matthew Galajda, Cornell

Galajda hasn't allowed a goal in over 150 minutes of game time.
The freshman netminder increased his shutout streak to 158:15 after keeping both ECAC Hockey opponents off the scoreboard. On Friday, he made 34 saves in a scoreless tie against No. 7 Clarkson, marking the first time all season the Golden Knights have been held scoreless. On Saturday, the Aurora, Ontario native stopped all 16 shots as the Big Red beat St. Lawrence, 1-0. He now leads the nation in goals-against average (1.47) and shutouts (8) and is third in save percentage (.941).

3.) Will Graber, Dartmouth

Graber picked up a hat trick and a pair of assists vs. Rensselaer.
The Longmont, Colorado native had a big weekend offensively for the Big Green in a split of ECAC Hockey competition. In Friday’s 7-3 victory over Rensselaer, the sophomore forward had five points, which included a hat trick. In Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Union, he had an assist on Dartmouth’s only goal. He finished the weekend with six points on three goals and three assists to go along with 12 shots on goal and a +5 rating. He now has 18 points on eight goals and 10 assists on the season.
