    ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey (@ecachockeyMWD1) was again represented in the 54th NHL Entry Draft with the selection of four future student-athletes and one current player on June 24-25, 2016, at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York, hosted by the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres. Colgate, Cornell, Harvard, Quinnipiac and Rensselaer each had one student-athlete selected at the yearly event.

    BOSTON - The men’s ice hockey programs from ECAC Hockey’s St. Lawrence University and Quinnipiac University and Hockey East’s University of Massachusetts and University of Vermont are slated to compete in the second annual Friendship Four Tournament to be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland it was announced today. The teams will first compete against their conference rival in a league contest Friday, November 25 before a cross over round Saturday, November 26. The winning programs will compete for the Belpot Trophy, while the two other teams will vie for third place.
