CBS Sports Network Features Key League Match-up

ALBANY, N.Y. -- CBS Sports Network will broadcast an ECAC Hockey showdown between two Central New York rivals as Colgate visits Cornell and Lynah Rink Friday, January 27.

Friday’s televised game between the Raiders and the Big Red will air live on CBS
Sports Network at 7:30 p.m. with Matt McConnell, veteran NHL voice and the lead play-by-play announcer for CBS College Sports Network hockey broadcasts and analyst Jim Paradise calling the action.

This is the ninth season of college hockey programming for CBS Sports Network, which includes a slate of 24 games showcasing the nation’s top teams.

CBS Sports Network uses all-HD mobile units for its college hockey coverage, deploying trucks from NEP, NCP, and Mobile Mansion. College-hockey productions on CBS Sports Network feature seven manned cameras — up one camera from a year ago — as well as a stash of GoPro cameras that could be positioned anywhere in the building, from the benches to hallways to locker rooms.

CBS Sports Network covers more than 300 live games annually, showcasing 30 men’s and women’s sports, in addition to a variety of studio shows, documentaries and original programs. The Network is available throughout the United States and Canada to local cable, video and teleco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 152.
