RPI coach Seth Appert thinks people would get excited about his team facing Union even if the game were street hockey.
Union coach Rick Bennett said he'd be fired up for a game against RPI even if it were scheduled on Christmas Day.
So no, neither coach thought the unorthodox timing of Tuesday's game at Houston Field House would diminish what has become a terrific rivalry.
