Quinnipiac overcame a 4-1 deficit after the second period of play,

Heichman broke a scoreless tie 12 minutes into the game when he
scored his fourth goal of the season on a pass from Clay Harvey
(Gull Lake, Saskatchewan). Harvey battled for the puck behind the
Robert Morris goal and was able to find Heichman, who just stepped
on the ice during a line change. Heichman received the pass in the
slot and beat Colonials' goalie Eric Levine with a wrist shot over
his left shoulder.
Quinnipiac controlled play until late in the first period,
outshooting Robert Morris, 8-3, before taking a penalty with six
minutes to go. Robert Morris tipped the scales on the Bobcats,
scoring on the power play on a shot from the point by Colin South.
South took one shot that was blocked and sent directly back to him.
His second traffic through traffic found the back of the net as
Quinnipiac goalie Eric Hartzell (White Bear Lake, Minn.) lost the
puck while screened.
The second period belonged to Robert Morris as the Colonials scored
three times, once on the power play, to take a three-goal lead,
4-1. Cody Cartier, scored just over nine minutes into the period
before Brandon Blandina gave the Colonials a 3-1 lead with four
minutes to play in the second frame. Tyson Wilson then scored his
first career goal, on the power play, to pad Robert Morris'
lead.
Peca scored his second goal in as many games just twenty-three
seconds into the third period, with Jeremy Langlois (Tempe, Ariz.)
picking up an assist. The Bobcats won the draw deep in the RMU
zone, sending the puck to Peca who crashed the net and punched the
puck past Levine to pull Quinnipiac within two goals, 4-2.
At the 1:42 mark, Dalhuisen scored on a blast from the point to
pull the Bobcats within a goal with most of the period remaining.
Harvey picked up a loose puck in the corner and fed Zach Davies
(Smithers, British Columbia) at the point. Davies cycled the puck
to Dalhuisen on the other side of the ice, who one-timed a shot
from the face-off circle for Quinnipiac's third goal of the
night.
After RMU scored to put them out in front, 5-3, Kellen Jones scored
