Championship Seeding Set
ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey today announced the pairings for the
2011 ECAC Men's Hockey Championship featuring an 12-team tournament
field held over three consecutive weekends.
The tournament field, in order of seeds, feature Union, Yale,
Dartmouth, Cornell, Rensselaer, Princeton, Clarkson, Quinnipiac,
Brown, Harvard, St. Lawrence and Colgate.
Tournament competition features four first-round series conducted
at on-campus sites Friday-Sunday, March 4-6; four quarterfinals
series at on-campus sites Friday-Sunday, March 11-13; and the
championship semifinals, third-place and championship games March
18-19 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The first-round and quarterfinals series are best-of-three games.
The top four seeds (Union, Yale, Dartmouth and Cornell will receive
first-round byes.
The CBS Sports Network will broadcast the 2011 ECAC Men’s
Hockey Semifinals and Championship games live from Boardwalk Hall
in Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 18 and 19.
