2010-11 All-Academic Team Comprises 189 Student-Athletes
ALBANY, N.Y. - One hundred eighty-nine student-athletes
representing the ECAC Hockey’s 12 men’s programs were
named to the 2010-11 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team. One hundred
twelve of this year’s student-athletes were also named to the
team last year and 71 have the distinction of receiving the honor
the last three seasons. Of the 12 institutions, Brown and
Quinnipiac led the way with 23 honorees each, followed by
Rensselaer with 22, and Dartmouth, Union, and Yale with 16
each.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a
cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three
semesters.
