Championship Semifinals Set
ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey announced the pairings for the
upcoming 2011 ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship Tournament
semifinal games Friday, March 18th at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic
City, New Jersey.
No. 2 seed Yale (26-6-1, 17-4-1) will face No. 12 seed Colgate
(11-26-3, 4-15-3) Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Bulldogs and the Raiders
met twice during the regular-season with Yale earning a 6-4 win at
Colgate in November and the two teams skating to a 1-1 overtime tie
at Ingalls Rink during the last weekend of regular-season play.
This will be the second trip to the conference tournament final
four in three years for the Bulldogs, while the Raiders are playing
in the semifinals for the first time since 2008.
No. 3 seed Dartmouth (18-11-3, 12-8-2) will faceoff with No. 4
seed Cornell (15-14-3, 11-9-2) in the late game at 7:30 p.m Friday
evening. The Big Green is making their first appearance in the
tournament semifinals bracket since 2007. Dartmouth won its series,
2-1 over a gamely Harvard squad at Thompson Arena this past
weekend. Cornell, the reigning tournament champion, will be looking
to claim its sixth title under the guidance of head coach Mike
Schafer. The two teams faced each other twice during the
regular-season, tying 2-2, and the Big Red prevailing in another
close contest, 3-2.
Single-Session tickets are priced at $26 for the upper bowl, $31
for the lower bowl, and $51.00 for the first two rows on the glass.
TD Family 4-Packs are $79 and include 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4
soft drinks and must be purchased in advance. Two-day All-Session
tickets are still available, and are priced at $85 for the first
two rows on the glass, $50 for the lower bowl and $40 for seats in
the upper bowl. Family friendly, no-alcohol sections are available
for $50. Tickets can be purchased at the Boardwalk Hall box office,

Discount rates are also available for groups of 10 or more. Fans
can save $5 per ticket on any seat when booking a group for any
session of the Championship. Students, Scouts and active/retired
military can purchase tickets at the box office with ID for $16 for
