Tigers Down Morrisville State in Exhibition Win

PRINCETON (10/23/10) - Will MacDonald had two goals and two assists to help lead the Princeton men's hockey team to a 7-1 win in exhibition action on Saturday evening at Hobey Baker Rink. MacDonald's linemates Kevin Lohry and Marc Hagel also scored and had multiple points in the win.

The Lohry-MacDonald-Hagel line combined for four goals and nine points in the game. The trio scored Princeton's second, third, fifth and seventh goals and helped Princeton take control of the game in the second period. Tied at a goal apiece entering the second period, Princeton broke the game open in the second period as goals from Lohry and MacDonald put Princeton ahead 3-1 through 40 minutes.

MacDonald then made it 3-1 with five minutes left in the period, one-timing a Lohry pass from behind the net into the Mustang goal. That goal came with the man-advantage and Marc Hagel had the secondary assist on the goal.

Derrick Pallis added a goal from the point at 13:45 after a Sam Sabky face-off win and MacDonald closed the scoring at 15:51 when he intercepted a pass and scored his second of the night.
