’Dogs, ’Cats have Big Games Before Big Game

HAMDEN — A handful of students entered the TD Bank Sports
Center on Thursday morning in a quest for tickets to
Saturday’s men’s hockey game between Quinnipiac and No.
5 Yale.
No dice, they were told. Tickets for all 3,254 seats, and an
additional 1,400 for standing-room only have been distributed. At
least they’ll be able to watch the live television broadcast
(NESN, 7:30 p.m.).
But while the regular-season finale between the natural rivals may
have Greater New Haven hockey fans bursting with anticipation, the
big games before the big game will take place tonight for both
teams.
