All-Academic Team Comprises 181 Student-Athletes
ALBANY, N.Y. - One hundred eighty-one student-athletes representing the ECAC Hockey’s 12 men’s programs were named to the 2009-10 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team. One hundred ten of this year’s student-athletes were also named to the team last year and 54 have the distinction of receiving the honor the last three seasons. Of the 12 institutions, Brown leads the way with 28 honorees, followed by Quinnipiac with 19, and Dartmouth and Rensselaer with 17.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
