Taylor Named to U.S. Junior Team Staff
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Tim Taylor, a former Harvard
standout and longtime head coach at Yale, has been named director
of player personnel of the 2010 U.S. National Junior Team, it was
announced today by USA Hockey.
Taylor recently completed his second season as an assistant coach
at USA Hockey's National Team Development Program. He served as
head coach of the U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team at the 1994
Olympic Winter Games and was an assistant coach for Team USA at the
1984 Olympic Winter Games. In addition, he was the head coach of
the U.S. Men's National Team from 1989-92 and an assistant for the
team twice (1981, 1983). He also coached Yale for 28 seasons
(1976-83/1984-93/1994-2006).
