League Issues Suspension
ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey today announced that Cornell head coach Mike Schafer has been suspended one game by the League as a result of recent post-game comments following the Cornell versus Rensselaer game Friday, March 13.
Based upon the action by the League, Coach Schafer will serve his suspension this evening (March 14) when Cornell hosts Rensselaer. The suspension assessed is in accordance with ECAC Hockey Policies and Procedures.
